I purchased this cover to protect my mattress from my dogs. They will pull off fitted sheets, shred the waterproof zippered ones and then destroy my mattress. I purchased two of these to protect my new mattress; they are holding up well and I am very happy with them. I ordered more so I can swap them out for washing. For my purposes they have to be doubled because they are not heavy duty, but they are great value for the price.

Perfect for dorm bed
Bought this for the mattress in my son's college dorm. Very nice cotton cover for the price. I wanted something that did not have a plastic like sound and feel and would zip completely up like a pillow protector. I was able to put his 2" memory foam pad on top of the mattress and zip up both inside this cover. Worked great!

Fit great
I have my great grandmother's antique iron bed with the original springs. They are not factory covered like modern springs. I needed a new cover for the springs. This zippered full XL mattress cover was relatively easy to slip on over the metal springs. The zipper is not heavy duty, but I won't be zipping and unzipping it on a regular basis. It is not padded. It will do the job I need it to do. I am very happy with it.
