Basic Waterproof Cover
This mattress cover seems to be doing its job of keeping the mattress dry. It is not too thick material so I doubt how long it will hold up. Time will tell. So it will not be hot to sleep on I have a standard foam filled mattress cover over the vinyl cover.

Leaky Roof
I ordered a less expensive vinyl cover to protect my mattress from a leaky roof until landlord has it repaired. It sounded like I was rolling around in a bowl of rice crispies until it split at the seam and forced me to replace it. This heavy gauge cover took care of the sound problem and is much more durable. Great value as an alternative to the more expensive zipper-fitted covers.

Great Value

This heavier gauge cover is great - it's much more durable and a great buy for the price as an alternative to more expensive zipper-fitted mattress covers.
